After a more serious production in 2025 with Home Is The Hero by Walter Macken, Ardagh Community Players are returning to more comedic themes in 2026.
The Sorcerer’s Tale, set in a fictional version of Rosserk Abbey, is an interpretation of the original play written by James Scotland in 1960 – itself based on an older one-act play, Hallowe’en.
Spells go awry and prayers go unanswered in this farcical story of deception and incompetence…!
The Sorcerer’s Tale will be performed for two nights in March 2026 – Friday 6th and Sunday 8th in Ardagh Community Centre. We look forward to entertaining you!
